3D Secure 2.0 adds another level of security to your payments made with iCard to online merchants participating in “Visa Secure” and “Mastercard ID Check” programmes that help prevent card-not-present fraud.

For a secure checkout, you should go through an additional step to confirm the payment – this is the so-called Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). But here is the simple explanation: with this method, you can prove that the transactions to be made with your card are yours, and no one else is trying to use the funds in your account.
What has changed since we integrated the latest, improved version of the 3D Secure for all our cards? With 3D Secure 2.0, you don’t have to enter a 6-digit code received via SMS in the application or on the website where you are making a purchase. Instead, now you can confirm your payment even easier – by tapping a push notification from the iCard mobile app.

How to confirm an online purchase with iCard?
Online payment confirmation now takes just a few seconds. Once you enter your card details and move forward, you will receive a push notification from the iCard mobile app. Here’s what to do next:
1.Open the notification (by tapping anywhere on it) and review all the details of your purchase again – the merchant’s name, the amount, date and time and the last four digits of the card number.
2.Confirm or decline the transaction.
3.Enter a security code or unlock the iCard app with your fingerprint or Face ID if you want to confirm the payment.

How can i shop online if I don’t have all card digits? I have virtual cards , but there are some missing numbers.

You can open the app, “Wallet” tab, and select the virtual card you want to use. Then tap the “Show details” button if you want to see the card details. For easier checkout, just copy the card number and paste it on the website or in the app.
