Today, 19 July 2019, part of the iCard team met with captain Toma Tomov, who is one of the most renowned figures in modern yachting, a lecturer, an inspiration for many young sailors and the chairman of the “Cor Caroli” foundation. Together, we set the beginning of a new partnership between iCard and “Cor Caroli” that is inspired by our love for the sea and sports.
We signed the general sponsorship contract for this year’s 19th edition of the international sailing regatta “Cor Caroli iCard”. It will start on August 15th from “Morska gara” Varna and sailors will race the route Varna – Balchik – St. Vlas – Bourgas. The awards ceremony will be held on August 18th at “Morska gara” Bourgas.
The “Cor Caroli” regatta is one more opportunity for iCard to support sports activities. Our team was attracted by the regatta’s mission, the adventurer spirit and by the future benefits that the event will create for the local community.
We agreed to sponsor this exciting yacht race not just for the romance that can be felt with the sea breeze, but also for the strategic thinking, teamwork and precision – all key skills in sailing as well as in the high-tech finance products business.
We believe that the Bulgarian sea has all the merits to host the prestigious international yacht race which is growing in popularity. Race teams, just like the iCard users, come from many different countries. The show program promises good mood, beautiful view, many surprises and positive emotions.
