What an unexpected unfolding of events – travel has stopped in Europe and the world, people stay home and all events have been cancelled or postponed.
Eurovision 2020 was cancelled until the next year, but our support for Victoria – the Bulgarian singer remains intact.
She deserves it because she was a top favourite even before announcing her song Tears getting sober.
Some news outlets like the popular Dutch website AD.NL even named Victoria the winner of Eurovision 2020, had the song contest taken place.
Bookmakers have consistently placed Victoria and Bulgaria in the top spot for days and this was so encouraging for us until the pandemic crumbled so many plans.
Fans or not, everyone seems to be staying at home, bored. To cheer you up, we have some great news:
iCard and Victoria will host a LIVE virtual concert from her home.
We got together with Viki and her team, virtually of course, and we came up with the idea of an online concert, streamed live from her flat in Sofia, Bulgaria. This exclusive online show is our gift to all Eurovision fans and a way to cheer people up in times of a global pandemic.
When we spoke to Victoria, she, just like you, needed a way to freshen up while staying indoors and self-isolating. And what can be a better way to stay positive than singing … or in your case – listening to Viki’s awesome voice?
